The Ogre Tree

Fairy tale about an evil ogre that gets tricked by a fox cub and turns into a tree. The illustrations have been inspired by The Bayeux Tapestry.
This fairy tale isn't based on a true story, but it is based on a real tree. It stood tall close to where I used to live and it was commonly known as The Ogre Tree. One day it fell in a storm, but I was lucky to catch it with my camera before it died.
This book will tell you what could have happened, because surely there must be a reason for a tree like this standing all alone in a field. Due to the ogre being rather evil, the tale can be considered a bit scary so beware. Even so, I would say it is suitable for all ages.
