Bayeux Tapestry Style Embroidery
When it comes to the embroidery on The Bayeux Tapestry, I have plenty of experience and I would be happy to offer guidance to get you started on your project.
This can be done via Zoom, email or Messenger and I will explain the techniques I use in a format that works for you.
Your project doesn't have to be a Bayeux Tapestry image. As long as you are using the embroidery style, I'm happy to consult.
Image transfer
I use a ruler, a calculator, pins and a pencil when I transfer an image from my reference book to the fabric. Should you want to try that technique, but find it daunting, I'm happy to talk you through it.
This can be done via Zoom, email or Messenger and I will explain how I do it in a format that works for you.
Your image doesn't have to be from The Bayeux Tapestry. As long as you want to use my way of transferring it, I'm happy to consult.
Literary Work
I'm not a historian, far from it, so I won't be able to assist when it comes to historical fiction. However, should you feel that my input as a period-style needleworker would benefit your literary work, I'm willing to talk to you about it.

Booking
Due to family commitments, I won't be able to visit you or work onsite, but I'm happy to work with you via zoom.
The agreed fee applies to every aspect of the work, preparation for a session included. As far as I can, I will provide an estimate for the time required, but it may be a case of timing it, depending on what kind of consultancy you would like.
