MEET THE ARTIST

MIA HANSSON

I'm a self taught artist with a love for embroidery, drawing and story telling. In July 2016 I started working on a full scale replica of the Bayeux Tapestry and since then, my project has branched out in various ways.

I have self published several books on Amazon and they are available on various sites worldwide.

I run two Facebook groups, one for my tapestry work and one for my other sewing and drawings. Feel free to pop in and have a look.

As well as working on my tapestry embroidery project, I also write and illustrate story books, Mia's Bayeux Tales and I assist others to engage in craft by providing Bayeux style designs, both on paper and on fabric.
