Join me, textile artist Mia Hansson, for an in-depth view of what it's like to embroider a full-scale version of the famous Bayeux Tapestry.

​

I have been working on a full-scale version of the Bayeux Tapestry since July 2016 and have completed almost 60 metres so far. Join me for this zoom event to find out what it's like to work on such a large project, drawing it free-hand and stitching it all with a single needle.

​

During the event, you will be guided through the various stitches, tips and tricks and discoveries made during the project. You will be able to ask questions throughout the the presentation.

​

Please note that this is a presentation of an embroidery project from a handicraft point of view, rather than a historical one.
